The heart of him that has understanding seeks knowledge: but the mouth of fools feeds on foolishness.

Give [instruction] to a wise [man], and he will be yet wiser: teach a just [man], and he will increase in learning.


Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits:


The heart of the prudent gets knowledge; and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge.


But grow in grace, and [in] the knowledge of our Lord - Kurios and Saviour Yeshua [God is Salvation] Moshiach [Messiah]. To him [be] glory both now and forever. Amen.


These were more noble than those in Thessalonica [victory of falsity], in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.


A wise [man] will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:


Efrayim [Doubly Fruitful] feeds on wind, and follows after the east wind: he daily increases lies and desolation; and they do make a covenant with the children of Ashur, and oil is carried into Mitzrayim [Egypt - The Narrow Place].


He feeds on ashes: a deceived heart has turned him aside, that he cannot deliver his soul, nor say, [Is there] not a lie in my right hand?


I understand more than the ancients, because I keep youri precepts.


MEM. O how love I youri law! it [is] my meditation all the day.


A prudent man conceals knowledge: but the heart of fools proclaim foolishness.


All the days of the afflicted [are] evil: but he that is of a merry heart [has] a continual feast.
