By long forbearing is a prince persuaded, and a soft tongue breaks the bone.


Hatred stirs up strifes: but love covers all sins.


A wrathful man stirs up strife: but [he that is] slow to anger appeases strife.


An angry man stirs up strife, and a furious man abounds in transgression.


He that is of a proud heart stirs up strife: but he that puts his trust in the Lord-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate] shall be made fat.


And the men of Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God] answered the men of Y’hudah [Let Him (God) Be Praised], and said, We have ten parts in the king, and we have also more [right] in David [beloved] than you2f: why then did you2f despise us, that our advice should not be first had in bringing back our king? And the words of the men of Y’hudah [Let Him (God) Be Praised] were fiercer than the words of the men of Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God].


And they spoke unto him, saying, If youi will be a servant unto this people this day, and will serve them, and answer them, and speak good words to them, then they will be youri servants forever.


And they spoke unto him, saying, If youi be kind to this people, and please them, and speak good words to them, they will be youri servants forever.


Will he make many supplications unto youi? will he speak soft [words] unto youi?


Scornful men bring a city into a snare: but wise [men] turn away wrath.


And when he had thus spoken, he dismissed the assembly.
