A scorner seeks wisdom, and [finds it] not: but knowledge [is] easy unto him that understands.

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God-The Father, that gives to all [men] liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.


And if any man think that he knows any thing, he knows nothing yet as he ought to know.


They [are] all plain to him that understands, and right to them that find knowledge.


The wise [men] are ashamed, they are dismayed and taken: lo, they have rejected the word of the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate); and what wisdom [is] in them?


To the law and to the testimony! if they speak not according to this word, [it is] because [there is] no light in them.


See youi a man wise in his own conceit? [there is] more hope of a fool than of him.


A fool has no delight in understanding, but that his heart may discover (uncover; reveal; have first sight of) itself.


Wisdom [is] before him that has understanding; but the eyes of a fool [are] in the ends of the earth.


Open youi mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of youri law.


A wise [man] will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:


A faithful witness will not lie: but a false witness will utter lies.


Go from the presence of a foolish man, when youi perceives not [in him] the lips of knowledge.


Wisdom [is] too high for a fool: he opens not his mouth in the gate.


All the words of my mouth [are] in righteousness; [there is] nothing perverse (twisted) [habitually disposed to disobedience and opposition] or perverse in them.


A scorner loves not one that reproves him: neither will he go unto the wise.


For what reason [is there] a price in the hand of a fool to get wisdom, seeing [he has] no heart [to it]?
