He that oppresses the poor reproaches his Maker: but he that honours him has mercy on the poor.

The rich and poor meet together: the Lord-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate] [is] the maker of them all.


He that oppresses the poor to increase his [riches, and] he that gives to the rich, [shall] surely [come] to lack.


Whoso mocks the poor reproaches his Maker: [and] he that is glad at calamities shall not be unpunished.


He that has pity upon the poor lends unto the Lord-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate]; and that which he has given will he pay him again.


And this commandment have we from him, That he who loves God-The Father love his brother also.


If youi see the oppression of the poor, and violent perverting of judgment and justice in a province, marvel not at the matter: for [he that is] higher than the highest regards; and [there be] higher than they.


For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, says the Lord-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate]; I will set [him] in safety [from him that] puffs at him.


For the poor always you2f have with you; but me you2f have not always.


He that despises his neighbour sins: but he that has mercy on the poor, happy [is] he.


You2f shall not therefore oppress one another; but youi shall fear youi God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered]: for I [am] the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) your God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered].


youi shall not oppress an hired servant [that is] poor and needy, [whether he be] of youi brethren, or of youi strangers that [are] in youi land within youi gates:


They turn the needy out of the way: the poor of the earth hide themselves together.


He that by usury (interest paid for using money) and unjust gain increases his substance, he shall gather it for him that will pity the poor.


And if youi brother be waxen poor, and fallen in decay with youi; then youi shall relieve him: [yes, though he be] a stranger, or a sojourner; that he may live with youi.
