The words of the wicked [are] to lie in wait for blood: but the mouth of the upright shall deliver them.


And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.


Because youi have kept the word of my patience, I also will keep youi from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.


For when they speak great swelling [words] of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, [through much] wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.


And of the ten horns that [were] in his head, and [of] the other which came up, and before whom three fell; even [of] that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spoke very great things, whose look [was] more stout than his fellows.


He that is of a proud heart stirs up strife: but he that puts his trust in the Lord-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate] shall be made fat.


He that sows iniquity shall reap vanity: and the rod of his anger shall fail.


Proud [and] arrogant (proud; lifted up) scorner [is] his name, who deals in proud wrath.


A fool’s lips enter into contention, and his mouth calls for strokes.


My soul [is] among lions: [and] I lie [even among] them that are set on fire, [even] the sons of men, whose teeth [are] spears and arrows, and their tongue a sharp sword.


The Lord-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate] shall cut off all flattering lips, [and] the tongue that speaks proud things:


youi shall be hid from the scourge of the tongue: neither shall youi be afraid of destruction when it comes.


Talk no more so exceeding proudly; let [not] arrogancy come out of your mouth: for the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) [is] a God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed.


Let the lying lips be put to silence; which speak grievous things proudly and contemptuously against the righteous.


Where no oxen [are], the crib [is] clean: but much increase [is] by the strength of the ox.


He that keeps his mouth keeps his life: [but] he that opens wide his lips shall have destruction.


A fool’s mouth [is] his destruction, and his lips [are] the snare of his soul.
