The light of the righteous rejoices: but the lamp of the wicked shall be put out.

But the path of the just [is] as the shining light, that shines more and more unto the perfect day.


For there shall be no reward to the evil [man]; the candle of the wicked shall be put out.


Whoso corsets his father or his mother, his lamp shall be put out in obscure darkness.


Unto the upright there arises light in the darkness: [he is] gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.


Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.


“The foolish virgins said to the wise: ‘Give us some of your oil because our lamps have gone out’”.


And unto his son will I give one tribe, that David [beloved] my servant may have a light always before me in Yerushalayim [Foundation of Peace], the city which I have chosen me to put my name there.


When his candle shined upon my head, [and when] by his light I walked [through] darkness;


How oft is the candle of the wicked put out! and [how oft] comes their destruction upon them! [God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered]] distributes sorrows in his anger.


“Then the king said to his servants: ‘Bind his hands and feet and cast him to the lower most and lowest hell; in that place will be weeping and gnashing of teeth’”.


The ransom of a man’s life [are] his riches: but the poor hears not rebuke (reprimand; strongly warn; restrain).


Only by pride cometh contention: but with the well advised [is] wisdom.


And when I shall put youi out, I will cover the heaven, and make the stars thereof dark; I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon shall not give her light.


Why should the name of our father be done away from among his family, because he has no son? Give unto us [therefore] a possession among the brethren of our father.
