Wealth [gotten] by vanity shall be diminished: but he that gathers by labour shall increase.

An inheritance [may be] gotten hastily at the beginning; but the end thereof shall not be Blessed (Favored by God; happy; prosperous).


Treasures of wickedness profit nothing: but righteousness delivers from death.


He that by usury (interest paid for using money) and unjust gain increases his substance, he shall gather it for him that will pity the poor.


He that hastes to be rich [has] an evil eye, and considers not that poverty shall come upon him.


A faithful man shall abound with blessings: but he that makes haste to be rich shall not be innocent.


[As] the partridge sits [on eggs], and hatches [them] not; [so] he that gets riches, and not by right, shall leave them in the midst of his days, and at his end shall be a fool.


For youi shall eat the labour of youri hands: happy [shall] youi [be], and [it shall be] well with youi.


He has swallow (to approve, commend, accept)ed down riches, and he shall vomit them up again: God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] shall cast them out of his belly.


But those riches perish by evil travail: and he begets a son, and [there is] nothing in his hand.


Only by pride cometh contention: but with the well advised [is] wisdom.


Hope deferred makes the heart sick: but [when] the desire cometh, [it is] a tree of life.


The getting of treasures by a lying tongue [is] a vanity tossed to and fro of them that seek death.
