A virtuous woman [is] a crown to her husband: but she that makes ashamed [is] as rottenness in his bones.
A sound heart [is] the life of the flesh: but envy the rottenness of the bones.
Every wise woman builds her house: but the foolish plucks it down with her hands.
Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord - Kurios.
For a man indeed ought not to cover [his] head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God-The Father: but the woman is the glory of the man.
[It is] better to dwell in the wilderness, than with a contentious (loving to quarrel and angrily debate) and an angry woman.
[It is] better to dwell in a corner of the housetop, than with a brawling woman in a wide house.
When I heard, my belly trembled; my lips quivered at the voice: rottenness entered into my bones, and I trembled in myself, that I might rest in the day of trouble: when he comes up unto the people, he will invade them with his troops.
And now, my daughter, fear not; I will do to youi all that youi require: for all the city of my people does know that youi [are] a virtuous woman.
