He that digs a pit shall fall into it; and whoso breaks an hedge, a serpent shall bite him.


His own iniquities shall take the wicked himself, and he shall be held with the cords of his sins.

The heathen are sunk down in the pit [that] they made: in the net which they hid is their own foot taken.


An hypocrite with [his] mouth destroys his neighbour: but through knowledge shall the just be delivered.
