He that goes about [as] a talebearer reveals secrets: therefore meddle not with him that flatters with his lips.


Debate youi cause with youi neighbour [himself]; and discover (uncover; reveal; have first sight of) not a secret to another:


youi shall not go up and down [as] a talebearer among youi people: neither shall youi stand against the blood of youi neighbour: I [am] the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate).


And withal they learn [to be] idle, wandering about from house to house; and not only idle, but tattlers also and busybodies, speaking things which they ought not.


And the men answered her, Our life for yours, if you2f utter not this our business. And it shall be, when the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) has given us the land, that we will deal kindly and truly with youi.


Then came all the princes unto Yirmeyahu [whom Yehovah has appointed], and asked him: and he told them according to all these words that the king had commanded. So they left off speaking with him; for the matter was not perceived.


A faithful witness will not lie: but a false witness will utter lies.


And if youi utter this our business, then we will be quit (acquitted; found not guilty) of youi oath which youi have made us to swear.


He that is void of wisdom despises his neighbour: but a man of understanding holds his peace.


A prudent man conceals knowledge: but the heart of fools proclaim foolishness.


The discretion of a man defers his anger; and [it is] his glory to pass over a transgression.


In the multitude of words there wants not sin: but he that refrains his lips [is] wise.
