For in many things we offend (make angry; make one stumble; violate) all. If any man offend (make angry; make one stumble; violate) not in word, the same [is] a perfect man, [and] able also to bridle the whole body.


For what reason, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:


For a dream comes through the multitude of business; and a fool’s voice [is known] by multitude of words.


I said, I will take heed to my ways, that I sin not with my tongue: I will keep my mouth with a bridle, while the wicked is before me.


Should not the multitude of words be answered? and should a man full of talk be justified?


Death and life [are] in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.


Be not rash with youi mouth, and let not youi heart be hasty to utter [any] thing before God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered]: for God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] [is] in heaven, and youi upon earth: therefore let youi words be few.


He that is void of wisdom despises his neighbour: but a man of understanding holds his peace.


A talebearer reveals secrets: but he that is of a faithful spirit conceals the matter.


A prudent man conceals knowledge: but the heart of fools proclaim foolishness.


Keep youi foot when youi go to the house of God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered], and be more ready to hear, than to give the sacrifice of fools: for they consider not that they do evil.
