Proverbs 10:17

He [is in] the way of life that keeps instruction: but he that refuses reproof (rebuke; scolding) errs.

For the commandment [is] a lamp; and the law [is] light; and reproofs of instruction [are] the way of life:


But he said, Yes rather, Blessed (Favored by God; happy; prosperous) [are] they that hear the word of God-Theos, and keep it.


Correction [is] grievous unto him that forsakes the way: [and] he that hates reproof (rebuke; scolding) shall die.


He, that being often reproved hardens [his] neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy.


And say, How have I hated instruction, and my heart despised reproof (rebuke; scolding);


She [is] a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy [is every one] that retains her.


Suffer not youi mouth to cause youi flesh to sin; neither say youi before the angel, that it [was] an error: wherefore should God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] be angry at youi voice, and destroy the work of youi hands?


Whoso loves instruction loves knowledge: but he that hates reproof (rebuke; scolding) [is] “stupid as a beast”.


Take fast hold of instruction; let [her] not go: keep her; for she [is] youri life.


See that you2f refuse not him that speaks. For if they escaped not who refused him that spoke on earth, much more [shall not] we [escape], if we turn away from him that [speaks] from heaven:


He taught me also, and said unto me, Let youi heart retain my words: keep my commandments, and live.


They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof (rebuke; scolding).


And it came to pass, as he talked with him, that [the king] said unto him, Are youi made of the king’s counsel? refrain (restrain; refrein from acting); why should youi be smitten? Then the prophet forbare, and said, I know that God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] has determined to destroy youi, because youi have done this, and have not listened unto my counsel.


Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let [them] slip.


And when he had lifted up his eyes, he saw a wayfaring man in the street of the city: and the old man said, Where go youi? and from what place come youi?


I was almost in all evil in the midst of the congregation and assembly.


He that refuses instruction despises his own soul: but he that hears reproof (rebuke; scolding) gets understanding.
