Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood: their thoughts [are] thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction [are] in their paths.
But if our unrighteousness commend the righteousness of God-The Father, what shall we say? [Is] God-The Father unrighteous who takes vengeance? (I speak as a man)
And Sha’ul [desired] sought to strike David [beloved] even to the wall with the javelin; but he slipped away out of Sha’ul’s [desired] presence, and he struck the javelin into the wall: and David [beloved] fled, and escaped that night.
Come now therefore, and let us slay him, and cast him into some pit, and we will say, Some evil beast has devoured him: and we shall see what will become of his dreams.
