Nor of men sought we glory, neither of you, nor [yet] of others, when we might have been burdensome, as the apostles of Moshiach [Messiah].

For though I should boast somewhat more of our authority, which the Lord - Kurios has given us for edification, and not for your destruction, I should not be ashamed:

Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech:

But even after that we had suffered before, and were shamefully entreated, as you2f know, at Philippi [lover of horses], we were bold in our God-The Father to speak unto you the Gospel (joyful message) of God-The Father with much contention.

Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient (fit; appropriate; proper (one’s own; peculiar; particular)): but rather giving of thanks.

I speak as concerning reproach (disgrace; shame), as though we had been weak. However whereinsoever any is bold, (I speak foolishly,) I am bold also.
