This [is it] that [belongs] unto the Levi’im (Levites) [Joined to]: from twenty and five years old and upward they shall go in to wait upon the service of the tabernacle of the congregation:
Now the Levi’im (Levites) [Joined to] were numbered from the age of thirty years and upward: and their number by their polls, man by man, was thirty and eight thousand.
Who goes a warfare any time at his own charges? who plants a vineyard, and eats not of the fruit thereof? or who feeds a flock, and eats not of the milk of the flock?
From thirty years old and upward until fifty years old shall youi number them; all that enter in to perform the service, to do the work in the tabernacle of the congregation.
This charge I commit unto youi, son Timothy [honoring God], according to the prophecies which went before on youi, that youi by them might war a good warfare;
But the Levi’im (Levites) [Joined to] shall pitch round about the tabernacle of testimony, that there be no wrath upon the congregation of the people of Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God]: and the Levi’im (Levites) [Joined to] shall keep the charge of the tabernacle of testimony.
From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old shall youi number them, every one that enters into the service, to do the work of the tabernacle of the congregation.
