But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Moshiach [Messiah]; and the head of the woman [is] the man; and the head of Moshiach [Messiah] [is] God-The Father.

Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.

Is it such a fast that I have chosen? a day for a man to afflict his soul? [is it] to bow down his head as a bulrush (tall plant near water, such as papyrus), and to spread sackcloth and ashes [under him]? will youi call this a fast, and an acceptable day to the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate)?

But as for me, when they were sick, my clothing [was] sackcloth: I humbled my soul with fasting; and my prayer returned into mine own bosom.

Then I proclaimed a fast there, at the river of Ahava [I shall subsist], that we might afflict ourselves before our God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered], to seek of him a right way for us, and for our little ones, and for all our substance.

And you2f shall have on the tenth [day] of this seventh month an holy convocation; and you2f shall afflict your souls: you2f shall not do any work [in it]:

It [shall be] unto you a Shabbat [Rest] of rest, and you2f shall afflict your souls: in the ninth [day] of the month at even, from even unto even, shall you2f celebrate your Shabbat [Rest].

Also on the tenth [day] of this seventh month [there shall be] a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and you2f shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate).

And [this] shall be a statute forever unto you: [that] in the seventh month, on the tenth [day] of the month, you2f shall afflict your souls, and do no work at all, [whether it be] one of your own country, or a stranger that sojourns among you:

Defraud you2f not one the other, except [it be] with consent for a time, that you2f may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan [the adversary] tempt you not for your incontinency.

But if her husband has utterly made them void on the day he heard [them; then] whatsoever proceeded out of her lips concerning her vows, or concerning the bond of her soul, shall not stand: her husband has made them void; and the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) shall forgive her.

But if her husband altogether hold his peace at her from day to day; then he establishes all her vows, or all her bonds, which [are] upon her: he confirms them, because he held his peace at her in the day that he heard [them].
