Come now therefore, I pray youi, curse me this people; for they [are] too mighty for me: perhaps I shall prevail, [that] we may strike them, and [that] I may drive them out of the land: for I know that he whom youi bless [is] Blessed (Favored by God; happy; prosperous), and he whom youi curse is cursed.
And Balak [Devastator]’s anger was kindled against Bil’am [Not of the People], and he struck his hands together: and Balak [Devastator] said unto Bil’am [Not of the People], I called youi to curse my enemies, and, behold, youi have altogether Blessed (Favored by God; happy; prosperous) [them] these three times.
