Numbers 24:24New Messianic Version BibleAnd ships [shall come] from the coast of Kittim [Bruisers], and shall afflict Ashur [A Level Plain], and shall afflict ‘Ever, and he also shall perish forever. See the chapter |
Forasmuch as youi saw that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it broke in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] has made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream [is] certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.
Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshing floors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that struck the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.
And there came one that had escaped, and told Avram (Exalted Father; Father Of Elevation) the Hebrew; for he dwelt in the plain of Mamre (firmness; fatling (fat cattle) offering) the Emori (The Talkers), brother of Eshkol (bunch, cluster [of grapes, etc.]), and brother of Aner: and these [were] confederate with Avram (Exalted Father; Father Of Elevation).
For this reason it shall come to pass, [that] when the Lord-Adonai (The Father) [Greatest Above All Things] has performed his whole work upon mount Tziyon [parched place] and on Yerushalayim [Foundation of Peace], I will punish the fruit of the stout heart of the king of Ashur [the level plain] (the land of the sons of Shem (name, renown (great reputation; being well-known))), and the glory of his high looks.
