Numbers 22:17New Messianic Version BibleFor I will promote youi unto very great honour, and I will do whatsoever youi say unto me: come therefore, I pray youi, curse me this people. See the chapter |
And Harvonah [ass-driver], one of the chamberlains, said before the king, Behold also, the gallow (to approve, commend, accept)s fifty cubits high, which Haman [magnificent] had made for Mordekhai [little man], who had spoken good for the king, stands in the house of Haman [magnificent]. Then the king said, Hang him thereon.
Come now therefore, I pray youi, curse me this people; for they [are] too mighty for me: perhaps I shall prevail, [that] we may strike them, and [that] I may drive them out of the land: for I know that he whom youi bless [is] Blessed (Favored by God; happy; prosperous), and he whom youi curse is cursed.
