“But I say to you, do not repay evil for evil; but he who smites your right cheek provide for him the left”.

See that none render evil for evil unto any [man]; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all [men].

Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that you2f are thereunto called, that you2f should inherit a blessing.

Say not youi, I will recompense evil; [but] wait on the Lord-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate], and he shall save youi.

He gives [his] cheek to him that smites him: he is filled full with reproach (disgrace; shame).

“He who wishes to oppose you in judgment and to rob your shirt, leave to him your garment”.

And the Torah-teachers (Scribes) and P’rushim (Pharisees) [separatists] watched him, whether he would heal on the Shabbat [rest] day; that they might find an accusation against him.

Yeshua [God is Salvation] answered him, If I have spoken evil, bear witness of the evil: but if well, why strike youi me?
