“Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is very great in heaven; for thus they persecuted the prophets who were before you”.

Rejoice you2f in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward [is] great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets.

My brethren, count it all joy when you2f fall into different temptations;

Knowing that of the Lord - Kurios you2f shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for you2f serve the Lord - Kurios Moshiach [Messiah].

But rejoice, inasmuch as you2f are partakers of Moshiach [Messiah]’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, you2f may be glad also with exceeding joy.

Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Moshiach [Messiah] in my flesh for his body’s sake, which is the church:

And not only [so], but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation works patience;

The Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) recompense youi work, and a full reward be given youi of the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] of Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God], under whose wings youi are come to trust.

So that a man shall say, Truly [there is] a reward for the righteous: truly he is Elohim Shof’tim [God the Judge] in the earth.

Say you2f to the righteous, that [it shall be] well [with him]: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.

The wicked works a deceitful work: but to him that sows righteousness [shall be] a sure reward.

But they mocked the messengers of God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered], and despised his words, and misused his prophets, until the wrath of the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) arose against his people, till [there was] no remedy.

“Because the Son of The Mighty One will come in the glory of his Father Who is in heaven with his angels to reward each man according to his work”.

But without faith [it is] impossible to please [him]: for he that comes to God-The Father must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Who both killed the Lord - Kurios [he to whom a person belongs] Yeshua [God is Salvation], and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they please not God-The Father, and are contrary to all men:

Yes, and if I be offered upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I joy, and rejoice with you all.

Was it not told my lord what I did when Izevel [Ba’al exalts] killed the prophets of the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate), how I hid an hundred men of the Lord-Yehōvah’s [Messiah Pre-Incarnate] prophets by fifty in a cave, and fed them with bread and water?

For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, works for us a far more exceeding [and] eternal weight of glory;

And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer (allow, to let, permit) shame for his name.

Again he said to them: “When you fast do not be as the sad hypocrites who make themselves appear sad and who change their faces, to show their fasting before men; truly I say to you, they have already received their reward”.

Now he that plants and he that waters are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.

But love you2f your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and you2f shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and [to] the evil.

After these things the word of the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) came unto Avram (Exalted Father; Father Of Elevation) in a vision, saying, Fear not, Avram (Exalted Father; Father Of Elevation): I [am] youri shield, [and youri] exceeding great reward.

Nevertheless they were disobedient, and rebelled against youi, and cast youi law behind their backs, and killed youi prophets which testified against them to turn them to youi, and they wrought great provocations.

And at midnight Sha’ul [desired] and Silas [woody] prayed, and sang praises unto God-The Father: and the prisoners heard them.

O Yerushalayim [Foundation of Peace], Yerushalayim [Foundation of Peace], which kill the prophets, and stone them that are sent unto youi; how often would I have gathered youri children together, as a hen [does gather] her brood (animal offspring) under [her] wings, and you2f would not!

In vain have I smitten your children; they received no correction: your own sword has devoured your prophets, like a destroying lion.

Moreover by them is youri servant warned: [and] in keeping of them [there is] great reward.

Then Asa [healer; injurious?] was exceedingly angry with the seer, and put him in a prison house; for [he was] in a rage with him because of this [thing]. And Asa [healer; injurious?] oppressed [some] of the people the same time.

For it was [so], when Izevel [Ba’al exalts] cut off the prophets of the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate), that ‘Ovadyah [servant of Yehovah] took an hundred prophets, and hid them by fifty in a cave, and fed them with bread and water.)

Now it came to pass, when Yirmeyahu [whom Yehovah has appointed] had made an end of speaking all that the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) had commanded [him] to speak unto all the people, that the priests and the prophets and all the people took him, saying, youi shall surely die.

And the king of Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God] said unto Y’hoshafat [Yehovah has judged], [There is] yet one man, Mikhay’hu [who is like God?] the son of Yimlah [whom God will fill up], by whom we may enquire of the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate): but I hate him; for he does not prophesy good concerning me, but evil. And Y’hoshafat [Yehovah has judged] said, The king shouldn’t say such a thing.

And Ach’av [father’s brother] said to Eliyahu [my God is Yehovah], Have youi found me, O my enemy? And he answered, I have found [youi]: because youi have sold yourself to work evil in the sight of the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate).

Esteeming the reproach (disgrace; shame) of Moshiach [Messiah] greater riches than the treasures in Mitzrayim (Egypt) [the black land, The Narrow Place]: for he had respect unto the recompence (punishment for evil, reward) of the reward.

Then the king sent unto him a captain of fifty with his fifty. And he went up to him: and, behold, he sat on the top of an hill. And he spoke unto him, youi man of God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered], the king has said, Come down.

Then Izevel [Ba’al exalts] sent a messenger unto Eliyahu [my God is Yehovah], saying, So let the gods do [to me], and more also, if I make not youri life as the life of one of them by tomorrow about this time.

Then said Yirmeyahu [whom Yehovah has appointed], [It is] false; I fall not away to the Kasdim [clod-breakers]. But he listened not to him: so Yir’iyah [speak] took Yirmeyahu [whom Yehovah has appointed], and brought him to the princes.

For unto you it is given in the behalf of Moshiach [Messiah], not only to believe on him, but also to suffer (allow, to let, permit) for his sake;

For you2f had compassion of me in my bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourselves that you2f have in heaven a better and an enduring substance.

Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions,

Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord - Kurios, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience.
