He fasted forty days and forty nights and afterwards was hungry.

And I fell down before the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate), as at the first, forty days and forty nights: I did neither eat bread, nor drink water, because of all your sins which you2f sinned, in doing wickedly in the sight of the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate), to provoke him to anger.

And he arose, and did eat and drink, and went in the strength of that meat forty days and forty nights unto Horev [Desert] the mount of God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered].

And he was there with the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) forty days and forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water. And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments.

Being forty days tried or tested of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered.

When I was gone up into the mount to receive the tables of stone, [even] the tables of the covenant which the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) made with you, then I abode in the mount forty days and forty nights, I neither did eat bread nor drink water:

Thus I fell down before the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) forty days and forty nights, as I fell down [at the first]; because the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) had said he would destroy you.

And Moshe [He Who Draws Out Of The Waters] went into the midst of the cloud, and got him up into the mount: and Moshe [He Who Draws Out Of The Waters] was in the mount forty days and forty nights.

Now Ya’akov [He who grabs onto the heal of] [Heal of God]’s well was there. Yeshua [God is Salvation] therefore, being wearied with [his] journey, sat thus on the well: [and] it was about the sixth hour.

And on the morrow, when they were come from Beit-Anyah [house of figs], he was hungry:

I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto youi, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.

It came to pass in the morning that he returned to the city hungry.

“Because I was hungry and you gave me to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me to drink, I was a wayfarer and you took me in”,

“because I was hungry and you did not give me to eat, I was thirsty and you did not give me to drink”,
