And there were some that had indignation within themselves, and said, Why was this waste of the ointment made?

But he said, You2f [are] idle, [you2f are] idle: therefore you2f say, Let us go [and] do sacrifice to the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate).

Saying, When will the new moon be gone, that we may sell corn? and the Shabbat [Rest], that we may set forth wheat, making the eifah small, and the shekel great, and falsifying the balances by deceit?

Again, I considered all travail, and every right work, that for this a man is envied of his neighbour. This [is] also vanity and anguish of spirit.

You2f said also, Behold, what a weariness [is it]! and you2f have snuffed at it, says the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) Tz’va’ot [of the Heavenly Armies]; and you2f brought [that which was] torn, and the lame, and the sick; thus you2f brought an offering: should I accept this of your hand? says the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate).

a woman drew near to him with a flask of costly ointment; she poured it upon his head while he was reclining at table.
