For the P’rushim (Pharisee [separatist]s) [separatists], and all the Y’hudim (Judeans) [praised of Yah], except they wash [their] hands oft, eat not, holding the tradition of the elders.
And profited in the Y’hudit (Y’hudim (Judeans) [praised of Yah]’) religion above many my equals in my own nation, being more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my fathers.
Beware lest any man spoil (plunder; prey; booty) you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the elements of the world, and not after Moshiach [Messiah].
Forasmuch as you2f know that you2f were not redeemed with corruptible things, [as] silver and gold, from your vain Conversation (behavior; way of life; community) [received] by tradition from your fathers;
