For unto us was the Gospel (joyful message) preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard [it].
And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Ya’akov’s (he who holds onto the heel of) thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him.
And it came to pass, that the father of Publius [popular] lay sick of a fever and of a bloody flux (bloody flow from the body; dysentery): to whom Sha’ul [desired] entered in, and prayed, and laid his hands on him, and healed him.
