And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand.

For where envying and strife [is], there [is] confusion and every evil work.

But if you2f bite and devour one another, take heed that you2f be not consumed one of another.

Behold, how good and how pleasant [it is] for brethren to dwell together in unity!

And when his brethren saw that their father loved him more than all his brethren, they hated him, and could not speak peaceably unto him.

And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.

And if Satan [the adversary] rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but has an end.
