And the P’rushim (Pharisees) [separatists] said unto him, Behold, why do they on the Shabbat [rest] day that which is not lawful?

But the seventh day [is] the Shabbat [Rest] of the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) youi God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered]: [in it] youi shall not do any work, youi, nor youi son, nor youi daughter, youi manservant, nor youi maidservant, nor youi cattle, nor youi stranger that [is] within youi gates:

For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest you2f be wearied and give up in your minds.

The P’rushim (Pharisees) [separatists] saw it and said to him: ‘Look! your disciples are doing that which is not proper (one’s own; peculiar; particular) to do on the Shabbat [rest] day’.

And when the Torah-teachers (Scribes) and P’rushim (Pharisees) [separatists] saw him eat with publicans and sinners, they said unto his disciples, How is it that he eats and drink with publicans and sinners?

Why does this [man] thus speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but God-Theos only?

If youi turn away youri foot from the Shabbat [Rest], [from] doing youri pleasure on my holy day; and call the Shabbat [Rest] a delight, the holy of the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate), honourable; and shall honour him, not doing youri own ways, nor finding youri own pleasure, nor speaking [youri own] words:

Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate), to serve him, and to love the name of the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate), to be his servants, everyone that keeps the Shabbat [Rest] from polluting it, and takes hold of my covenant;

For thus says the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) unto the eunuchs that keep my Shabbat, and choose [the things] that please me, and take hold of my covenant;

Blessed (Favored by God; happy; prosperous) [is] the man [that] does this, and the Son of man [that] lays hold on it; that keeps the Shabbat [Rest] from polluting it, and keeps his hand from doing any evil.

Six days may work be done; but in the seventh [is] the Shabbat [Rest] of rest, holy to the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate): whosoever does [any] work in the Shabbat [Rest] day, he shall surely be put to death.

And he said unto them, Have you2f never read what David [Beloved] did, when he had need, and was an hungred, he, and they that were with him?
