And he says unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, commit adultery against her.
“I say to you that everyone who leaves his wife and takes another, commits adultery; and he who takes her who has been divorced commits adultery”.
So then if, while [her] husband lives, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.
Whosoever puts away his wife, and marries another, commit adultery: and whosoever marries her that is put away from [her] husband commit adultery.
The wife has not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband has not power of his own body, but the wife.
Marriage [is] honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God-The Father will judge.
And in the house his disciples asked him again of the same [matter].
And when she is departed out of his house, she may go and be another man’s [wife].
