Then there arose a reasoning among them, which of them should be greatest.
I wrote unto the church: but Diotrephes [nourished by the supreme god (Jupiter)], who loves to have the preeminence among them, receives us not.
[Let] nothing [be done] through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.
Do all things without murmurings and disputings:
[Be] kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;
For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think [of himself] more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God-The Father has dealt to every man the measure of faith.
