Luke 8:24New Messianic Version BibleAnd they came to him, and awoke him, saying, Master, master, we perish. Then he arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water: and they ceased, and there was a calm. See the chapter |
Fear you2f not me? says the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate): will you2f not tremble at my presence, which have placed the sand [for] the bound of the sea by a perpetual decree, that it cannot pass it: and though the waves thereof toss themselves, yet can they not prevail; though they roar, yet can they not pass over it?
For what reason, when I came, [was there] no man? when I called, [was there] none to answer? Is my hand shortened at all, that it cannot redeem? or have I no power to deliver? behold, at my rebuke (reprimand; strongly warn; restrain) I dry up the sea, I make the rivers a wilderness: their fish stinks, because [there is] no water, and dies for thirst.
