Blessed (Favored by God; happy; prosperous) are you2f, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you [from their company], and shall reproach (disgrace; shame) [you], and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of Man’s sake.

For I will show him how great things he must suffer (allow, to let, permit) for my name’s sake.

I have given them youri word; and the world has hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

And you2f shall be hated of all [men] for my name’s sake.

“He who loves his life will lose it, he who loses it for my sake will find it”.

And they gave him audience unto this word, and [then] lifted up their voices, and said, Away with such a [fellow] from the earth: for it is not fit that he should live.

They answered and said unto him, youi were altogether born in sins, and do youi teach us? And they cast him out.

So they cast him out of the vineyard, and killed [him]. What therefore shall the lord of the vineyard do unto them?

“but to governors and kings. You will be able bear witness on my behalf to them and to the Goyim [Gentiles]”.

Blessed (Favored by God; happy; prosperous) [are you2f] that hunger now: for you2f shall be filled. Blessed (Favored by God; happy; prosperous) [are you2f] that weep now: for you2f shall laugh.

Blessed (Favored by God; happy; prosperous) [is] the man that endures temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord - Kurios has promised to them that love him.
