For truly, when we were with you, we told you before that we should suffer (allow, to let, permit) tribulation; even as it came to pass, and you2f know.

These things I have spoken unto you, that in me you2f might have peace. In the world you2f shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Forasmuch then as Moshiach [Messiah] has suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin;

Remember the word that I said unto you, The slave is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.

“nor change of clothes, nor shoes, nor a staff in your hand. The workman is worthy to receive enough for his food”.

And he said unto them, When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked you2f any thing? And they said, Nothing.

For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, And he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things concerning me have an end.

And they said, Lord - Kurios, behold, here [are] two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough.
