Then said he to another, And how much owe youi? And he said, An hundred measures of wheat. And he said unto him, Take youri bill, and write eighty.

And again he sent a third: and they wounded him also, and cast [him] out.

Then began he to speak to the people this parable; A certain man planted a vineyard, and let it forth to husbandmen, and went into a far country for a long time.

“But that slave went out and found one of his comrades who owed him a hundred pieces of money and he grasped him and struck him saying: Pay back what you owe”.

And she [was] a widow of about eighty and four years, which departed not from the temple, but served [God-Theos] with fastings and prayers night and day.

And he said, An hundred measures of oil. And he said unto him, Take youri bill, and sit down quickly, and write fifty.

And the lord commended the unjust steward, because he had done wisely: for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light.
