Now when the Pharisee [separatist] which had bidden him saw [it], he spoke within himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman [this is] that touches him: for she is a sinner.
But their Torah-teachers (Scribes) and P’rushim (Pharisees) [separatists] murmured against his disciples, saying, Why do you2f eat and drink with publicans and sinners?
For before that certain came from Ya’akov [heal-grabber], he did eat with the Goyim [Gentiles]: but when they were come, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing them which were of the circumcision.
“But the Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say concerning him: ‘He is a glutton, a drunkard, and a friend to tax collectors and sinners. So fools judge the wise”.
This [is] a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Moshiach [Messiah] Yeshua [God is Salvation] came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.
