And it came to pass, as he went into the house of one of the chief P’rushim (Pharisees) [separatists] to eat bread on the Shabbat [rest] day, that they watched him.
And they watched [him], and sent forth spies, which should feign (to pretend to be; to disguise) themselves just men, that they might take hold of his words, that so they might deliver him unto the power and authority of the governor.
They only consult to cast [him] down from his excellency: they delight in lies: they bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah [stop and diligently consider what was just said].
And the Torah-teachers (Scribes) and P’rushim (Pharisees) [separatists] watched him, whether he would heal on the Shabbat [rest] day; that they might find an accusation against him.
Then stood there up one in the council, a Pharisee [separatist], named Gamali’el [Reward of God], a Doctor (teacher; instructor; learned person) of the law, had in reputation among all the people, and commanded to put the apostles forth a little space;
And when he was demanded of the P’rushim (Pharisee [separatist]s) [separatists], when the kingdom of God-The Father should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God-The Father comes not with observation:
