Luke 13:34New Messianic Version BibleO Yerushalayim [Foundation of Peace], Yerushalayim [Foundation of Peace], which kill the prophets, and stone them that are sent unto youi; how often would I have gathered youri children together, as a hen [does gather] her brood (animal offspring) under [her] wings, and you2f would not! See the chapter |
Be you2f not as your fathers, unto whom the former prophets have cried, saying, Thus says the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) Tz’va’ot [of the Heavenly Armies]; Turn you2f now from your evil ways, and [from] your evil doings: but they did not hear, nor hearken unto me, says the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate).
For what reason, when I came, [was there] no man? when I called, [was there] none to answer? Is my hand shortened at all, that it cannot redeem? or have I no power to deliver? behold, at my rebuke (reprimand; strongly warn; restrain) I dry up the sea, I make the rivers a wilderness: their fish stinks, because [there is] no water, and dies for thirst.
The words of Yonadav [Yehovah is willing] [Generous] the son of Rekhav [rider], that he commanded his sons not to drink wine, are performed; for unto this day they drink none, but obey their father’s commandment: notwithstanding I have spoken unto you, rising early and speaking; but you2f listened not unto me.
Be glad then, you2f children of Tziyon [parched place], and rejoice in the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) your God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered]: for he has given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first [month].
Therefore thus says the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] Tz’va’ot [of the Heavenly Armies], the God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] of Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God]; Behold, I will bring upon Y’hudah [Let Him (God) Be Praised] and upon all the inhabitants of Yerushalayim [Foundation of Peace] all the evil that I have pronounced against them: because I have spoken unto them, but they have not heard; and I have called unto them, but they have not answered.
