But woe unto you that are rich! for you2f have received your consolation.

As sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and [yet] possessing all things.

There is that makes himself rich, yet [has] nothing: [there is] that makes himself poor, yet [has] great riches.

But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and [into] many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
