When I saw among the spoils a goodly Shin’ar (Babylonian) garment, and two hundred shekels of silver, and a wedge of gold of fifty shekels weight, then I coveted them, and took them; and, behold, they [are] hid in the earth in the midst of my tent, and the silver under it.

Then when lust has conceived, it brings forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, brings forth death.

And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man’s life consists not in the abundance of the things which he possesses.

Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity; [and] quicken youi me in youri way.

Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Bil’am [Not of the People] [the son] of B’sor [burning or torch], who loved the wages of unrighteousness;

The graven images of their gods shall you2f burn with fire: youi shall not desire the silver or gold [that is] on them, nor take [it] unto youi, lest youi be snared in it: for it [is] an abomination to the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) youi God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered].

[Let your] Conversation (behavior; way of life; community) [be] without covetousness; [and be] content with such things as you2f have: for he has said, I will never leave youi, nor forsake youi.

He that hastes to be rich [has] an evil eye, and considers not that poverty shall come upon him.

And it came to pass in an evening, that David [beloved] arose from off his bed, and walked upon the roof of the king’s house: and from the roof he saw a woman washing herself; and the woman [was] very beautiful to look upon.

That the sons of God-Elōhīm [The Living Word - The Many Powered] saw the daughters of men that they [were] fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.

And when the woman saw that the tree [was] good for food, and that it [was] pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make [one] wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

Mortify (put to death; remove the life of) therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate (unrestrained; immoderate) affection, evil concupiscence (strong lust; passion), and covetousness, which is idolatry:

For this you2f know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Moshiach [Messiah] and of God-The Father.

But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becomes saints;

For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known.

Woe to him that covets an evil covetousness to his house, that he may set his nest on high, that he may be delivered from the power of evil!

Woe unto them that seek deep to hide their counsel from the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate), and their works are in the dark, and they say, Who sees us? and who knows us?

Because you2f have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:

Look not youi upon the wine when it is red, when it gives his colour in the cup, [when] it moves itself aright (in the right way).

Keep youi heart with all diligence; for out of it [are] the issues of life.

I made a covenant with my eyes; why then should I think upon a maid?

youi shall not covet youi neighbour’s house, youi shall not covet youri neighbour’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor anything that [is] youri neighbour’s.

And the beginning of his kingdom was Bavel Bavel (to jumble, or a confused medley of sounds; confusion; gate of the deity), and Erekh (to extract, or draw out), and Akkad (A vessel, pitcher, spark), and Kalneh (Our consummation; all of them), in the land of Shin’ar (Tooth Town, or City Of Wit).

And ‘Akhan [Troubler] answered Y’hoshua [Yehovah is Salvation], and said, Indeed I have sinned against the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] of Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God], and thus and thus have I done:

So Y’hoshua [Yehovah is Salvation] sent messengers, and they ran unto the tent; and, behold, [it was] hid in his tent, and the silver under it.

And when these lepers came to the outskirts part of the camp, they went into one tent, and did eat and drink, and carried from there silver, and gold, and clothing, and went and hid [it]; and came again, and entered into another tent, and carried from there [also], and went and hid [it].

The sons of Ya’akov came upon the slain, and spoiled the city, because they had defiled their sister.

So [are] the ways of every one that is greedy of gain; [which] takes away the life of the owners thereof.
