Joshua 6:4New Messianic Version BibleAnd seven priests shall bear before the ark seven trumpets of rams’ horns: and the seventh day you2f shall compass (go around, encircle; encompass) the city seven times, and the priests shall blow with the trumpets. See the chapter |
You2f shall not [need] to fight in this [battle]: set yourselves, stand you2f [still], and see the salvation of the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) with you, O Y’hudah [Let Him (God) Be Praised] and Yerushalayim [Foundation of Peace]: fear not, nor be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them: for the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) [will be] with you.
And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] the great trumpet shall be blown, and they shall come which were ready to perish in the land of Ashur [the level plain] (the land of the sons of Shem (name, renown (great reputation; being well-known))), and the outcasts in the land of Mitzrayim [Egypt - The Narrow Place], and shall worship the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) in the Holy Mount at Yerushalayim [Foundation of Peace].
Therefore take unto you now seven bullocks and seven rams, and go to my servant Iyov [hated], and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and my servant Iyov [hated] shall pray for you: for him will I accept: lest I deal with you [after your] folly, in that you2f have not spoken of me [the thing which is] right, like my servant Iyov [hated].
And, behold, God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] himself [is] with us for [our] captain, and his priests with sounding trumpets to cry alarm against you. O people of Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God], fight you2f not against the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] of your fathers; for you2f shall not prosper.
And seven priests bearing seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark of the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) went on continually, and blew with the trumpets: and the armed men went before them; but the rear guard came after the ark of the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate), [the priests] going on, and blowing with the trumpets.
