Jonah 1:16New Messianic Version BibleThen the men feared the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) exceedingly, and offered a sacrifice unto the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate), and made vows. See the chapter |
I make a decree, That in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] of Dani’el [God is Judge]: for he [is] the living God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered], and steadfast forever, and his kingdom [that] which shall not be destroyed, and his dominion [shall be even] unto the end.
And the angel of the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) said unto Manoach [Rest], Though youi detain me, I will not eat of youri bread: and if youi will offer a burnt offering, youi must offer it unto the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate). For Manoach [Rest] knew not that he [was] an angel of the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate).
For what reason they cried unto the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate), and said, We beseech (to call upon; appeal; beg) youi, O Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate), we beseech (to call upon; appeal; beg) youi, let us not perish for this man’s life, and lay not upon us innocent blood: for youi, O Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate), have done as it pleased youi.
Fear you2f not me? says the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate): will you2f not tremble at my presence, which have placed the sand [for] the bound of the sea by a perpetual decree, that it cannot pass it: and though the waves thereof toss themselves, yet can they not prevail; though they roar, yet can they not pass over it?
