And in that day did the Lord-Adonai [Greatest Above All Things] GOD-Yehōvih (THE FATHER) Tz’va’ot [of the Heavenly Armies] call to (to do entirely, do wholly) weeping, and to mourning, and to baldness, and to girding with sackcloth:
And did not he make one? Yet had he the residue (part that remains, the rest) of the spirit. And wherefore one? That he might seek a godly seed. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously against the wife of his youth.
And I will turn your feasts into mourning, and all your songs into lamentation; and I will bring up sackcloth upon all waist, and baldness upon every head; and I will make it as the mourning of an only [son], and the end thereof as a bitter day.
The ways of Tziyon [parched place] do mourn, because none come to the solemn feasts: all her gates are desolate: her priests sigh, her virgins are afflicted, and she [is] in bitterness.
