Therefore the showers have been withheld, and there has been no latter rain; and youi have polluted the land with youri whoredoms and with your wickedness and refused to be ashamed.

Because the ground is chapped, for there was no rain in the earth, the plowmen were ashamed, they covered their heads.

Are there [any] among the vanities of the Gentiles that can cause rain? or can the heavens give showers? [are] not youi he, O Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) our God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered]? therefore we will wait upon youi: for youi have made all these [things].

Neither say they in their heart, Let us now fear the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) our God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered], that gives rain, both the former and the latter, in his season: he reserves unto us the appointed weeks of the harvest.

And I will lay it waste: it shall not be pruned, nor excavated; but there shall come up briers and thorns: I will also command the clouds that they rain no rain upon it.

And youi heaven that [is] over youi head shall be brass, and the earth that is under youi [shall be] iron.

And I called for a drought upon the land, and upon the mountains, and upon the corn, and upon the New Wine, and upon the oil, and upon [that] which the ground brings forth, and upon men, and upon cattle, and upon all the labour of the hands.

And also I have withheld the rain from you, when [there were] yet three months to the harvest: and I caused it to rain upon one city, and caused it not to rain upon another city: one piece was rained upon, and the piece whereupon it rained not withered.

Who [is] the wise man, that may understand this? and [who is he] to whom the mouth of the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) has spoken, that he may declare it, for what the land perishes [and] is burned up like a wilderness, that none passes through?

Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? No, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore shall they fall among them that fall: in the time of their visitation they shall be cast down, says the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate).

The just Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) [is] in the midst thereof; he will not do iniquity: every morning does he bring his judgment to light, he fails not; but the unjust knows no shame.

But the house of Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God] will not hearken unto youi; for they will not hearken unto me: for all the house of Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God] [are] impudent (shameless; without modesty) and hardhearted.

O Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate), [are] not youi eyes upon the truth? youi have stricken them, but they have not grieved; youi have consumed them, [but] they have refused to receive correction: they have made their faces harder than a rock; they have refused to return.

See that you2f refuse not him that speaks. For if they escaped not who refused him that spoke on earth, much more [shall not] we [escape], if we turn away from him that [speaks] from heaven:

And refused to obey, neither were mindful of youi wonders that youi did among them; but hardened their necks, and in their rebellion appointed a captain to return to their bondage: but youi [are] a God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] ready to pardon, gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and forsook them not.

And their nobles have sent their little ones to the waters: they came to the pits, [and] found no water; they returned with their vessels empty; they were ashamed and confounded, and covered their heads.

Take youi a roll of a book, and write in it all the words that I have spoken unto youi against Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God], and against Y’hudah [Let Him (God) Be Praised], and against all the nations, from the day I spoke unto youi, from the days of Yoshiyahu [whom Yehovah heals], even unto this day.

Gather yourselves together, yes, gather together, O nation not desired;

And it came to pass on the morrow, that the firstborn said unto the younger, Behold, I lay yester night with my father: let us make him drink wine this night also; and go youi in, [and] lie with him, that we may preserve seed of our father.

A wicked man hardens his face: but [as for] the upright, he directs his way.

Your iniquities have turned away these [things], and your sins have withheld good [things] from you.

The word of the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) that came to Yirmeyahu [whom Yehovah has appointed] concerning the famine.

So two [or] three cities wandered unto one city, to drink water; but they were not satisfied: yet have you2f not returned unto me, says the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate).
