And he, as a rotten thing, consumes, as a garment that is moth eaten.

Sell that you2f have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which grow (become; advance) not old, a treasure in the heavens that fails not, where no thief approaches, neither moth corrupts.

Behold, the Lord-Adonai [Greatest Above All Things] GOD-Yehōvih (THE FATHER) will help me; who [is] he [that] shall condemn me? lo, they all shall grow (become; advance) old as a garment; the moth shall eat them up.

For the moth shall eat them up like a garment, and the worm shall eat them like wool: but my righteousness shall be forever, and my salvation from generation to generation.

To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fades not away, reserved in heaven for you,

[As] the partridge sits [on eggs], and hatches [them] not; [so] he that gets riches, and not by right, shall leave them in the midst of his days, and at his end shall be a fool.

When youi with rebukes do correct man for iniquity, youi make his beauty to consume away like a moth: surely every man [is] vanity. Selah [stop and diligently consider what was just said].

Therefore [will] I [be] unto Efrayim [Doubly Fruitful] as a moth, and to the house of Y’hudah [Let Him (God) Be Praised] as rottenness.

For if there come unto your Synagogue a man with a gold ring, in goodly apparel, and there come in also a poor man in vile clothing;
