Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord - Kurios, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience.

Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God-The Father: whose faith follow, considering the end of [their] Conversation (behavior; way of life; community).

Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they have slain them which showed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom you2f have been now the betrayers and murderers:

Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God-The Father has spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

Rejoice you2f in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward [is] great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets.

In vain have I smitten your children; they received no correction: your own sword has devoured your prophets, like a destroying lion.

Then said Hizkiyahu [Yehovah is my strength] to Yesha’yahu [Yehovah has saved], Good [is] the word of the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) which youi have spoken. He said moreover, For there shall be peace and tin my days.

But they mocked the messengers of God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered], and despised his words, and misused his prophets, until the wrath of the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) arose against his people, till [there was] no remedy.

O Yerushalayim [Foundation of Peace], Yerushalayim [Foundation of Peace], which kill the prophets, and stone them that are sent unto youi; how often would I have gathered youri children together, as a hen [does gather] her brood (animal offspring) under [her] wings, and you2f would not!

Then said the princes and all the people unto the priests and to the prophets; This man [is] not worthy to die: for he has spoken to us in the name of the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) our God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered].

But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.

Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaks evil of [his] brother, and his brother, speaks evil of the law, and the law: but if youi judge the law, youi are not a doer of the law, but a judge.

Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord - Kurios. Behold, the farmer (or rancher) waits for the precious fruit of the earth, and has long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.

Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest you2f be condemned: behold, the judge stands before the door.

Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms.
