They have set up kings, but not by me: they have made princes, and I knew [it] not: of their silver and their gold have they made them idols, that they may be cut off.

And now they sin more and more, and have made them molten images of their silver, [and] idols according to their own understanding, all of it the work of the craftsmen: they say of them, Let the men that sacrifice kiss the calves.

I am the good shepherd, and know my [sheep], and am known of my.

Whereupon the king took counsel, and made two calves [of] gold, and said unto them, It is too much for you to go up to Yerushalayim [Foundation of Peace]: behold youri gods, O Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God], which brought youi up out of the land of Mitzrayim [Egypt - The Narrow Place].

But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not from what place you2f are; depart from me, all [you2f] workers of iniquity.

“He answered them: ‘Truly I say to you, I do not know who you are’”.

Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby you2f have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will you2f die, O house of Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God]?

And this thing became sin unto the house of Yarov’am [the people will contend], even to cut [it] off, and to destroy [it] from off the face of the earth.

Shall a man make gods unto himself, and they [are] no gods?

N’vukhadnetzar [May Nebo protect the crown] the king made an image of gold, whose height [was] threescore cubits, [and] the breadth thereof six cubits: he set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Bavel (to jumble, or a confused medley of sounds; confusion; gate of the deity) (Babylon) [confusion].

Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God] has cast off [the thing that is] good: the enemy shall pursue him.

When Efrayim [Doubly Fruitful] spoke trembling, he exalted himself in Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God]; but when he offended in Ba’al [lord (a false god)], he died.

I gave youi a king in my anger, and took [him] away in my wrath.
