[is] not [he] the son of Yeruba’al [let Ba’al defend]? and Z’vul [Exalted] his officer? serve the men of Hamor [male-donkey (ass)] the father of Sh’khem [Shoulder]: for why should we serve him?

The sons of Ya’akov came upon the slain, and spoiled the city, because they had defiled their sister.

And the men of Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God] said unto the Hivi [Villagers], Perhaps you2f dwell among us; and how shall we make a league with you?

And David [beloved] sent messengers, and took her; and she came in unto him, and he lay with her; for she was purified from her uncleanness: and she returned unto her house.

However he would not hearken unto her voice: but, being stronger than she, forced her, and lay with her.
