Genesis 12:8

New Messianic Version Bible

And he removed from there unto a mountain on the east of Beit-El (House of EL the Powerful God), and pitched his tent, [having] Beit-El (House of EL the Powerful God) on the west, and ‘‘Ai [Heap of Ruins] (ruin) on the east: and there He built an altar unto the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate), and called upon the name of the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate).

And he called the name of that place Beit-El (The House of the Powerful One): but the name of that city was called Luz [Almond Tree] (almond tree) at the first.

Unto the place of the altar, which he had made there at the first: and there Avram (Exalted Father; Father Of Elevation) called on the name of the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate).

And it shall come to pass, [that] whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord - Kurios shall be saved.

And it shall come to pass, [that] whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) shall be delivered: for in mount Tziyon [parched place] and in Yerushalayim [Foundation of Peace] shall be deliverance, as the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) has said, and in the remnant whom the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) shall call.

He is come to ‘Ayat [heap of ruins], he is passed to Migron [precipice]; at Mikhmas [hidden] he has laid up his carriages:

Then called I upon the name of the Lord-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate]; O Lord-Yehōvah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate], I beseech (to call upon; appeal; beg) youi, deliver my soul.

And Beit-’Aravah [House of the Desert Valley/Depression], and Tz’marayim [Double Fleece of Wool], and Beit-El [House of God],

And there was not a man left in ‘Ai [Heap of Ruins] or Beit-El [House of God], that went not out after Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God]: and they left the city open, and pursued after Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God].

So Y’hoshua [Yehovah is Salvation] arose, and all the people of war, to go up against ‘Ai [Heap of Ruins]: and Y’hoshua [Yehovah is Salvation] chose out thirty thousand mighty men of valour, and sent them away by night.

And Y’hoshua [Yehovah is Salvation] sent men from Yericho [Its Moon] to ‘Ai [Heap of Ruins], which [is] beside Beit-On [vanity] [house of vanity], on the east side of Beit-El [House of God], and spoke unto them, saying, Go up and view the country. And the men went up and viewed ‘Ai [Heap of Ruins].

And let us arise, and go up to Beit-El (House of EL the Powerful God); and I will make there an altar unto God-EL [The Powerful Living Word], who answered me in the day of my distress, and was with me in the way which I went.

By faith he detained (held) in the land of promise, as [in] a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Yitz’khak [Laughter] and Ya’akov [He who grabs onto the heal of] [Heal of God], the heirs with him of the same promise:

And Noach (Rest, Consolation) built an altar unto the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate); and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.

And he went on his journeys from the south even to Beit-El (House of EL the Powerful God), unto the place where his tent had been at the beginning, between Beit-El (The House of the Powerful One) and ‘‘Ai [Heap of Ruins] (ruin);

Then Avram (Exalted Father; Father Of Elevation) removed [his] tent, and came and dwelt in the plain of Mamre (firmness; fatling (fat cattle) offering), which [is] in Hevron (Place/Town Of Alliance), and built there an altar unto the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate).

And they came to the place which God-Elōhīm [The Living Word - The Many Powered] had told him of; and Avraham [exalted father/Fly They Will] built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Yitz’chak [Laughter] his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood.

And he built an altar there, and called upon the name of the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate), and pitched his tent there: and there Yitz’chak’s [Laughter] servants dug a well.

Y’hoshua [Yehovah is Salvation] therefore sent them forth: and they went to lie in ambush, and abode between Beit-El [House of God] and ‘Ai [Heap of Ruins], on the west side of ‘Ai [Heap of Ruins]: but Y’hoshua [Yehovah is Salvation] lodged that night among the people.

And he took about five thousand men, and set them to lie in ambush between Beit-El [House of God] and ‘Ai [Heap of Ruins], on the west side of the city.

To [them] which [were] in Beit-El [House of God], and to [them] which [were] in south Ramot [Heights], and to [them] which [were] in Yatir [Plenty],

Then Lavan overtook Ya’akov. Now Ya’akov had pitched his tent in the mount: and Lavan with his brethren pitched in the mount of Gil’ad (hill of testimony or mound of witness).

And he erected there an altar, and called it El-elohe-Isra’el [God-EL, the Mighty God of Isra’el-Prince with God].

And he built there an altar, and called the place El-bet-el (The Powerful House of the Powerful One): because there God-Elōhīm [The Living Word - The Many Powered] appeared unto him, when he fled from the face of his brother.

And Moshe [He Who Draws Out Of The Waters] built an altar, and called the name of it Yehovah-Nissi [God is My Banner/Miracle]:

Then Y’hoshua [Yehovah is Salvation] built an altar unto the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered] of Yisra’el [He Holds Onto The Heel Of God] in mount ‘Eival [Stone],

And when they came unto the borders of Yarden [Descender], that [are] in the land of Kena’an [Merchant], the children of Re’uven [Behold a Son] and the children of Gad [Good Fortune with Troublesome Effort] and the half tribe of M’nasheh [Causing to Forget] built there an altar by Yarden [Descender], a great altar to see to.

Then Gid’on [Hewer] built an altar there unto the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate), and called it Yehovah-Shalom [Messiah Pre-Incarnate {our} Peace]: unto this day it [is] yet in ‘Ofrah [Fawn] of the Avi’ezri [My Father is Help].
