Daniel 9:6New Messianic Version BibleNeither have we listened unto youi servants the prophets, which spoke in youi name to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land. See the chapter |
Since the days of our fathers [have] we [been] in a great trespass unto this day; and for our iniquities have we, our kings, [and] our priests, been delivered into the hand of the kings of the lands, to the sword, to captivity, and to a spoil (plunder; prey; booty), and to confusion of face, as [it is] this day.
Now therefore, our God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered], the great, the mighty, and the terrible God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered], who keeps covenant and mercy, let not all the trouble seem little before youi, that has come upon us, on our kings, on our princes, and on our priests, and on our prophets, and on our fathers, and on all youi people, since the time of the kings of Ashur [the level plain] (the land of the sons of Shem (name, renown (great reputation; being well-known))) unto this day.
Because they obeyed not the voice of the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) their God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered], but transgressed his covenant, [and] all that Moshe [He Who Draws Out Of The Waters] the servant of the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) commanded, and would not hear [them], nor do [them].
