Daniel 8:2

And I saw in a vision; and it came to pass, when I saw, that I [was] at Shushan [lily] [in] the palace, which [is] in the province of ‘Eilam [eternity]; and I saw in a vision, and I was by the river of Ulai [my leaders].

[That] in those days, when the king Achashverosh [I will be silent and poor] sat on the throne of his kingdom, which [was] in Shushan [lily] the capitol,

The words of Nechemyah [God comforts] the son of Hakhalyah [whom Yehovah enlightens]. And it came to pass in the month Kislev [his confidence], in the twentieth year, as I was in Shushan [lily] the palace,

And it came to pass in the days of Amrafel king of Shin’ar, Aryokh king of Elasar, K’dorla’omer king of ‘‘Eilam [eternity] (Hidden; Young Man or Always), and Tid’al king of Goyim [nations];

The children of Shem (name, renown (great reputation; being well-known)); ‘‘Eilam [eternity] (Hidden; Young Man or Always; Perhaps alluding to hidden secrets of the future), and Ashur (level plain; over the flames), and Arpakhshad, and Lud [strife] (no real meaning in Hebrew; possibly: to turn aside; strife), and Aram (citadel, palace; elevated, lifted up).

Then I lifted up my eyes, and saw, and, behold, there stood before the river a ram which had [two] horns: and the [two] horns [were] high; but one [was] higher than the other, and the higher came up last.

I Dani’el [God is Judge] was grieved in my spirit in the midst of [my] body, and the visions of my head troubled me.

Dani’el [God is Judge] spoke and said, I saw in my vision by night, and, behold, the four winds of the heaven strove upon the great sea.

A grievous vision is declared unto me; the treacherous dealer deals treacherously, and the spoiler spoils. Go up, O ‘Eilam [eternity]: besiege, O Madai [middle land]; all the sighing thereof have I made to cease.

And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] the Lord-Adonai (The Father) [Greatest Above All Things] shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Ashur [the level plain] (the land of the sons of Shem (name, renown (great reputation; being well-known))), and from Mitzrayim [Egypt - The Narrow Place], and from Patros [region of the south], and from Cush (Ethiopia) [black], and from ‘Eilam [eternity], and from Shin’ar [country of two rivers], and from Hamat [Fortress], and from the islands of the sea.

For the Y’hudim (Judeans) that [were] in Shushan [lily] gathered themselves together on the fourteenth day also of the month Adar, and killed three hundred men at Shushan [lily]; but on the prey they laid not their hand.

On that day the number of those that were slain in Shushan [lily] the palace was brought before the king.

And Mordekhai [little man] went out from the presence of the king in royal apparel of blue and white, and with a great crown of gold, and with a garment of fine linen and purple: and the city of Shushan [lily] rejoiced and was glad.

And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, [I] the Lord-Yehōvah (Messiah Pre-Incarnate) will make myself known unto him in a vision, [and] will speak unto him in a dream.

God-The Father, who at sundry times and in different manners spoke in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,

And Ester [star] said, The adversary and enemy [is] this wicked Haman [magnificent]. Then Haman [magnificent] was afraid before the king and the queen.

The posts went out, being hastened by the king’s commandment, and the decree was given in Shushan [lily] the palace. And the king and Haman [magnificent] sat down to drink; but the city Shushan [lily] was perplexed.

And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and sulfur: and the heads of the horses [were] as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and sulfur.

Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth [month], in the fifth [day] of the month, as I [was] among the captives by the river of, [that] the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God-Elōhīm (The Living Word) [The Many Powered].

In the third year of the reign of king Belshazzar a vision appeared unto me, [even unto] me Dani’el [God is Judge], after that which appeared unto me at the first.

And in the four and twentieth day of the first month, as I was by the side of the great river, which [is] Khidekel (Tigris) [rapid];
