Till this point in time [is] the end of the matter. As for me Dani’el [God is Judge], my cogitations (thinking something over) much troubled me, and my Countenance (Face, appearance; show favor) changed in me: but I kept the matter in my heart.

And he went down with them, and came to Natzeret [one separated], and was subject unto them: but his mother kept all these sayings in her heart.


But Miryam [waters of strength] kept all these things, and pondered [them] in her heart.


Therefore I was left alone, and saw this great vision, and there remained no strength in me: for my comeliness was turned in me into corruption, and I retained no strength.


And I Dani’el [God is Judge] fainted, and was sick [certain] days; afterward I rose up, and did the king’s business; and I was astonished at the vision, but none understood [it].


I Dani’el [God is Judge] was grieved in my spirit in the midst of [my] body, and the visions of my head troubled me.


Then Dani’el [God is Judge], whose name [was] Belt-shatzar [lord of the straitened (impeded or restricted; narrowed, distressed)’s treasure], was astonished for one hour, and his thoughts troubled him. The king spoke, and said, Belt-shatzar [lord of the straitened (impeded or restricted; narrowed, distressed)’s treasure], let not the dream, or the interpretation thereof, trouble youi. Belt-shatzar [lord of the straitened (impeded or restricted; narrowed, distressed)’s treasure] answered and said, My lord, the dream [be] to them that hate youi, and the interpretation thereof to youi enemies.


Let these sayings sink down into your ears: for the Son of Man shall be delivered into the hands of men.


And immediately all the people, when they beheld him, were greatly amazed, and running to [him] saluted him.


But go youi youri way till the end [be]: for youi shall rest, and stand in youri lot at the end of the days.


And he said, Go youi way, Dani’el [God is Judge]: for the words [are] closed up and sealed till the time of the end.


And both these kings’ hearts [shall be] to do mischief, and they shall speak lies at one table; but it shall not prosper: for yet the end [shall be] at the time appointed.


And he said, Behold, I will make youi know what shall be in the last end of the indignation: for at the time appointed the end [shall be].


So he came near where I stood: and when he came, I was afraid, and fell upon my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O Son of man: for at the time of the end [shall be] the vision.


Then the king’s Countenance (Face, appearance; show favor) was changed, and his thoughts troubled him, so that the joints of his waist were loosed, and his knees struck one against another.


And he told [it] to his father, and to his brethren: and his father rebuked him, and said unto him, What [is] this dream that youi have dreamed? Shall I and youri mother and youri brethren indeed come to bow down ourselves to youi to the earth?


And his brethren envied him; but his father observed the saying.


In the third year of the reign of king Belshazzar a vision appeared unto me, [even unto] me Dani’el [God is Judge], after that which appeared unto me at the first.


And, behold, [one] like the similitude of the sons of men touched my lips: then I opened my mouth, and spoke, and said unto him that stood before me, O my lord, by the vision my sorrows are turned upon me, and I have retained no strength.


Let his heart be changed from man’s, and let a beast’s heart be given unto him; and let seven times pass over him.
